Advocacy

As a coalition, we recognize the power of the individual and the collective voice.  We seek to empower communities to effect local, national, and global change through advocacy and policy change. Since viral hepatitis infection is closely tied to social justice issues, we also take action on related harms such as homelessness, substance use, mass incarceration, and immigration, structural racism, LGBTQ inequities, among others.

Join our efforts to change policies that will help us to eliminate hepatitis and related harms!

  • Storytelling

The first step to changing policies is changing perceptions. We do this by uplifting the stories of local people living with hepatitis, in their own words.

  • Partnership

We can’t do this alone! We are proud to work with national and global partners to ensure that hepatitis is adequately resourced and addressed at all levels of policy.

  • Global Impact

The Community Impact Programme (CIP) is an online learning course from the World Hepatitis Alliance. CIP offers free knowledge and tools for global hepatitis advocates.
