Overview

In this 1-hour accredited CME virtual workshop, faculty will discuss:

  • Recommendations for hepatitis B virus (HBV) screening and testing

  • Best practices for patient education and counseling

  • Treatment considerations for patients with chronic HBV

  • Hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) risk, screening, and surveillance are also discussed.

In addition to the expert faculty, patient advocates will join this program to provide perspectives from the patient community on the challenges that patients face regarding HBV screening, testing, and treatment.
