UPDATE! Due to a high number of requests, we have added a virtual option to attend June 20-21. Registration to attend virtually is $25/person.
“The Community Liver Alliance in collaboration with the National Viral Hepatitis Roundtable, MidSouth Liver Alliance, Hep B Foundation, National Harm Reduction Coalition, Community Education Group, and other key stakeholders representing viral hepatitis is developing a 3-day, in-person Viral Hepatitis Summit to take place in Pittsburgh, PA on July 19-21, 2023.
The goal of the Summit is to bring together the broad viral hepatitis community to identify strategies and best practices to successfully reduce disease burden, affect health equity and expand viral hepatitis elimination. We will involve an inclusive planning committee in the development of priorities. Through interactive sessions, we will address HAV, HBV, HCV, HDV, Vaccination, Elimination, Advocacy, Incarcerated Population, Special Populations, Perinatal and Pediatrics, Harm Reduction and other topics developed by the planning committee.
We endeavor to understand the disparities which exist for access to care and services for people living with viral hepatitis and identify evidence-based approaches to remove barriers to effect health equity. We will also provide training and education for service providers on screening and treating viral hepatitis, harm reduction strategies, and grassroots advocacy training.
Early registration is $50.00 until June 15
Registration is $100.00 beginning June 16”
