The Hawaiʻi Learning Group is hosting the Hawai`i HCV Screening and Linkage to Care ECHO Curriculum from January 27 to April 21, 2025.

“This twelve-week series is focused on hepatitis C.

The primary goal is to increase statewide capacity among primary care teams for screening and treatment, consistant with national goals for hepatitis C elimination by 2030. 

In Hawai`i, by following best practice guidelines, prescribers can be waived from prior restrictions for prescribing HCV medications.

By focusing on this curable infection, care teams can leverage their technology to efficiently and effectively screen their local populations, follow-up on positive tests, link to care, treat and cure HCV. It is a win for patients, providers and health systems.”
