Hepatitis Community Collaborative (HC2) @ 4:30AM HST

NASTAD and The AIDS Institute are excited to host the second annual Hepatitis Community Collaborative on September 28th starting at 10:30am ET! It is a one-day virtual convening of hepatitis and infectious disease advocates, patients, and others from across the country to connect with one another and learn about what is being done to combat viral hepatitis in their communities through informative presentations and authentic dialogue. Best of all, it’s FREE!

Registration is now LIVE!

Presentations will look at how a syndemic approach must be taken that incorporates responses to the viral hepatitis epidemics, overdose prevention, lessons learned from COVID-19, hepatitis elimination strategies, and other public health efforts. Additional barriers to advancing hepatitis elimination will also be examined, including treatment access issues in correctional settings, HBV vaccination barriers, and health inequities. NASTAD’s Hepatitis Testing Partnership and Learning Collaborative (HTPLC) will also highlight their ongoing initiatives focused on building the capacity of health departments and their partners and engaging coalition members to share lessons learned, best practices and strategies to increase testing and linkage to care for hepatitis C in priority populations.

Register today! See agenda.

Please reach out to Frank Hood (fhood@taimail.org) or Jasmine West (jwest@nastad.org) with any questions.
