Overdose & Viral Hepatitis Policy Summit

The syndemic of overdose and viral hepatitis poses significant challenges and dilemmas for public health, health equity, and the health, rights, and dignity of people who use drugs. This webinar will review federal strategies and actions critical to catalyzing leadership, mobilizing resources, and removing barriers to overdose prevention and viral hepatitis elimination, and present insights for advocates on advancing effective and equitable drug user health policies.

The Hepatitis Appropriations Partnership (HAP) is excited to announce the 2022 Viral Hepatitis Policy and Advocacy Summit. This year, we will virtually convene a month-long series of issue-based webinars in March that focus on key policy issues facing the hepatitis community. The series of “micro-summits” will be followed by a Hill Day in April.
