The session might be recorded for note-taking purposes only.

The Office of Infectious Disease and HIV/AIDS Policy (OIDP) is hosting a listening session titled "Advancing Syndemic Approaches through National Strategic Planning" on Tuesday, October 29, 2024 from 2:00 to 3:30pm ET.

This event will (1) define syndemics and the importance of implementing syndemic approaches to address HIV, sexually transmitted infections (STI), and viral hepatitis, including common drivers of health disparities; (2) describe the benefits for concurrent development of the next iterations of the National HIV/AIDS Strategy (NHAS) and the National Strategic Plans for STIs, viral hepatitis, and vaccines; (3) identify barriers, needs, and best practices to advance syndemic approaches; and (4) provide an opportunity for OIDP to listen and learn from the community.

This session is an opportunity to provide public comment. Your input will help shape the next iterations of the NHAS and the National Strategic Plans for STIs, viral hepatitis, and vaccines. We look forward to your participation!”
