The second Community of Practice (CoP) in California Prevention Training Centerʻs (CAPTC) will showcase the Law Enforcement Assisted Diversion (LEAD) program, which offers a jail alternative for people engaged inlow-level drug crimes, sex work, and crimes of poverty. The LEAD program along with its community partners have crafted an effective alternative to jail for PWUD.

Discuss 3 strategies for integrating diversion programs in syringe services programs
Describe 3 harm reduction strategies to ensure equitable access to SSP and other HIV prevention and care services for PWID
