“Viral hepatitis is now the second deadliest communicable disease and one of the communicable diseases for which deaths are increasing. WHO recently published the Global Hepatitis Report, which highlights stark new data about the growing global burden of hepatitis. With the 2030 elimination goal fast approaching, there is no time to waste. There is a window of opportunity for action between 2024 and 2026 to get on track to achieve the 2030 elimination targets. Ahead of World Hepatitis Day 2024, this panel discussion and Q&A will explore how we can act now to turn the tide for hepatitis and achieve the 2030 elimination goals.
