In commemoration of World Hepatitis Day, we convened local champions for the 2023 Hawaiʻi Hepatitis Elimination Strategy Summit on July 27, 2023 in Honolulu.

Attendees joined to receive updates on local hepatitis elimination efforts and to strategize on future efforts to implement the Hep Free 2030 plan.

Over 40 people attended the event, including representatives from patient and cultural groups, medical providers, neighbor islands, AIDS service organizations, equity organizations, corrections, insurance, community health centers, immigrant health, Native Hawaiian health, immunization coalitions, syringe exchanges, and state and local policymakers.
