Data Highlight: Hep B in US Health Centers

In October 2022, our partners at the Association of Asian Pacific Community Health Organizations published The Health of Asian American, Native Hawaiian, and Pacific Islander [AA & NHPI] Patients Served at Health Centers: An Analysis of the 2020 UDS. This comprehensive report includes a section on hepatitis B, including the chart above. An explanation of the chart follows:

“AA&NHPI-serving and NHPI-serving health centers serve a higher rate of Hepatitis B patients than the national average (3.4 AA&NHPI, 2.1 NHPI, and 1.7 national cases per 100,000 persons, respectively).”
