In November 2024, HFH awarded its first Naoky Tsai Wayfinder Award for Outstanding Provider to Dr. Naoky Tsai, our local champion physician! Read award letter.

The award will be presented annually to a local healthcare provider who exemplifies the qualities of his dedicated service:

  • promoting collegial learning through networking and education;

  • humility in engagement with patients, community members, and caregivers;

  • creating policy changes to increase access to care; and

  • committing to the spirit of harm reduction in all areas of work.

“We are delighted to honor Dr. Tsai with this award that recognizes his decades of service to our communities, including those who are disproportionately impacted by the syndemic of chronic disease, poverty, trauma, and stigma,” said our Co-Director Heather Lusk. We agree!
